One of the first questions that many customers ask us how to install and use the Windows Flock software. Most of the software designed for the Mac comes with a CD that you can burn to a CD to install the program. The CD will provide instructions on how to install the Flock software on your Mac computer. After the program is installed, it is recommended that you restart your computer to allow the software to download all of the data from the Internet. You will also want to quit any other programs that you may be using. Once your computer restarts, it is recommended that you restart Safari so that it can view the Flock icons on the desktop. To make sure that the application is running properly, you should start it up every day in the morning and at night and then check to make sure that it is running correctly.
To access the application from the Apple menu system preferences, select the 'Apple menu' icon. From there you can either open the applications section or simply press the "alt" key to open the Utilities panel. Then from the Utilities panel, select the Applications tab. This will provide you with a list of all the applications that are currently installed. If you do not see Flock listed under the Applications section you can choose it by clicking on the link on the "Applications" page and then selecting "Show Package Contents".
The next step that you need to do is install the application and save it to the desktop. To do this, you can simply drag the application onto the desktop. The Flock application will then install to the desktop and will become active. After installing the application you should restart your computer so that the application updates the background of your computer. To uninstall the application, you can simply delete the Flock application file that is saved in the Applications folder.
